But, in this Bill, there is no mention of them,” she said. Supriya Sule of the NCP urged the the government to expand its scope as “the Bill is a good Bill but not modern enough.” BJD’s Bhartruhari Mahtab pointed out that it does not define who is a close relative and asked why the government had not accepted all recommendations of the Parliamentary Standing Committee that had gone into aspects of the Bill.
